Everyone is invited - you don't have to be an ODA Member or a Graduating Student to attend. Optical assistants, optical dispensers, friends, family, suppliers, optometrists, industry colleagues, optical nerds and socialites are all welcome to attend this industry event.
The ODA National Excellence Awards honour outstanding Optical Dispensers across Australia, celebrating the vital contribution they make to the industry and the important role they play in the optical practice. With categories designed to recognise a range of achievements including the prestigious National Medal for Optical Dispensing Excellence.
Nominations are open to all ODA Members and may be submitted by the nominee themselves or by a colleague. Awards will be presented during the evening formalities.
A huge congratulations to everyone who has completed the ACOD Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing course. Please join us, along with your family, friends and colleagues, in celebrating this momentous occasion. Embrace some tropical vibes and showcase your brightest formal wear with this year's Gala theme, "Island Glamour". Think tropical prints, vibrant colours, bold florals and statement accessories.
The evening includes canapés, drinks, a photobooth and fundraising activities alongside the formal presentation of certificates.

Any additional rooms requested after the cut-off date will be subject to availability and may incur a rate increase.

Individual reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to arrival (by 2:00 PM the day before) to avoid charges.

A confirmed reservation that is not cancelled and not taken up (no-show) will incur a charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation. Any remaining nights in the booking will be automatically cancelled. This charge will be applied to the individual guest’s credit card.
