Since our founding in 2018, Lumiere Eyecare has been an independent family practice that is passionate about comprehensive and holistic patient care.
We began from humble beginnings offering after-hours and home visiting services.
After 2 short years, we have expanded and relocated to our current brick and mortar location in Wentworth Point in 2020.

Our team looks beyond just the eyes and sees the person behind them, tailoring our services to provide individualised care using the latest research and technologies. We offer a wide range of clinical services, with special interests such as children's vision, vision therapy, low vision, myopia control, contact lenses and ocular disease management.

We have access to latest optical dispensing tools and technologies and we pride ourselves in delivering quality services and products.

Wentworth Point is a lovely expanding community and our practice is a short walk to refreshing water views and scenery, which you can enjoy on your lunch breaks. Role Description The role is for a casual position, however permanent options will be considered for the right candidate.

Previous experience in customer service and in the optical industry would be beneficial. If you are someone who is a great communicator, enthusiastic about customer service, have a willingness to learn and are passionate about helping people, then you are what we are after!

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selling and dispensing of glasses and optical aids to patients including:
◦ frame and lens selections
◦ frame measurements
◦ job ordering and delivery
◦ frame adjustments
◦ repairs

Assist with reception and office administration including:
◦ Greeting patients
◦ Managing appointments couriers and deliveries
◦ Filing
◦ Processing payments and Medicare/HICAPS claims
◦ Settling and balancing banking at the end of the day

Stock and inventory maintenance and control:
◦ Maintain a clean and safe workspace
◦ Abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES:
◦ Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing is ideal
◦ 2 years of previous experience in a similar role is ideal
◦ Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
◦ Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
◦ Attention to detail
◦ Takes initiative and quick learner
◦ Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Salary is commensurate with experience.
