Jessica is a driven and energetic individual, with a passion for the optical industry and its people. She obtained an Optometry degree from the University of Johannesburg in 2013, and thereafter went on to obtain her Master of Philosophy degree specialising in Sports Vision. Although Jessica no longer practices as an Optometrist, she is able to draw on her optical knowledge on a day-to-day basis through her role as Technical Sales and Product Application Specialist at ZEISS Vision Care ANZ. Her passion for optical dispensing is reflected in her role where she trains internal staff as well as customers (including optical dispensers) on the numerous innovative products and technologies. Jessica has a thorough understanding of lens applications and dispensing requirements and is an advocate for ongoing professional development in the optical dispensing profession.
